Analyst Biography
Fernando Valle, CFA, is the Energy Sector Head at Hedgeye Risk Management, with nearly 20 years of experience in energy research and global markets. Prior to Hedgeye, he led Bloomberg Intelligence's Americas Integrated Oil & Gas and Refining team, overseeing securities worth over $1 trillion.
Valle has also been an Equity Research Analyst at Citigroup, earning a 4-star Starmine rating for two years and co-authoring the pivotal Global Oil Vision report. His career includes positions at SkyBlue Capital LLC and The Transportation Group. Valle holds degrees in Economics and Marketing from the College of William and Mary and has been a CFA charterholder since 2019.
