Rob has nearly 15 years of sell-side and corporate experience within the REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) sector. Prior to joining Hedgeye, Rob spent over 2 years in business development and investor relations at Paramount Group (PGRE), a REIT which owns and manages office buildings in New York and San Francisco.

Prior to PGRE, Rob spent 3 years as the lead office, industrial and self-storage REIT analyst at Evercore ISI, consistently among the top two ranked REIT Institutional Investor teams. Rob began his finance career with a focus on real estate within sell-side firms and investment banking.

Rob will be leading Hedgeye's equity research platform covering the trillion dollars + in publicly traded REITs. His research coverage will address all key subsectors of REITs including: residential, industrial, self-storage and specialty.

He graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business with a dual degree in Finance and Economics. He also earned his CFA designation in 2010.

A weekly recap of the most actionable news and data updates impacting our REITs coverage universe. In addition, we’ll flag our favorite long / short ideas in an updated table with accompanying color and commentary. We will also include a full comp sheet on the coverage universe including key valuation, growth and operating metrics for the space.

Each month (usually the third week of the month) we will provide an updated apartment rental rate tracker which we use to inform our view on rate-of-change (ROC) in revenue growth across the most important submarkets for the Apartment subsector. Additionally, we are developing a self-storage rate tracker which will be released bi-weekly and inform sequential and year-over-year growth trends assumed in our models.

Timely idea changes and other fundamental updates that can occur during the midweek. REITs Pro subs will promptly receive these investable updates in their inboxes.

Each month the REITs Team will open their process and latest fundamental views to Pro subscribers. Rob will provide a brief overview of the most important talking points in the space and then will take questions from the audience on stock ideas, themes, and other relevant topics.
